Adopting From Us
Brat Rats Rattery is currently only accepting cash. We encourage you to schedule a meet and greet with the rats to find the perfect match for you. Rats are adopted out by pick-up only. When picking up you should bring your own carrier to take your new pet home in. Keep in mind, some of our rats are small and can easily squeeze through bars. Also keep in mind, if you have a long drive home, rats do like to chew! If you do not have an appropriate carrier, one can be purchased from us when you arrive. You will sign an adoption contract at the time of pick-up.
Rats are social creatures and should not be kept alone. We recommend keeping at least two or more of the same sex together. Introducing new rats can be tricky sometimes, so it is easiest to bring them home together. Discounts may apply if you adopt 4 or more at a time. Please be sure to house your rats in an appropriate sized cage (they love to climb!) and provide fresh food and water and lots of chew toys.
